1. Choose a good study environment
It is important to have a nice and quiet environment in order to concentrate really well on studies. Also it is better to study in different places at different times especially if you are bores with your common study place.
When it comes to your room, it should be clean and your desk should be properly organized. Of course, it is not a sweet sight to see your stuff being messy on your desk, right?😉
Also, when choosing a suitable study environment, it got to be filled with light and fresh air. When talking about light, it is essential to have natural light regarding the daytime. And it is also essential to have fresh air as well. So that it is better for your health as well as for your memory.
2. Have plenty of water.
As for food, the most essential thing is to have a healthy balanced diet. Otherwise it is also said that having small snacks intermediately during your studies also helps you to study effectively.
3. Get enough rest and sleep
People often studies continuously for hours without being bothered to take any rests , so they find it hard to remember everything they studied. This happens mostly because they do not take any rests during studying. Scientists have proved that every person needs at least a 5 minute break in every 30 minutes of studying.
It is also not healthy to have a sleepless night in order to study well. Being awake at night without sleep causes the brain cells to destroy to a certain extent which causes a human memory to get weak. 6-8 hours of sleep is almost enough for a person and it is also recommended to have a 30 minute nap if needed.
4. Taking Notes.
This is actually a very good study tip. Taking notes helps you to remember the most important points of a subject. It is actually like summarizing the contents of a lesson. There are several ways of taking notes.
· Writing the points you remember after reading the lesson in point form.
· Drawing mind maps.
· Building up funny stories or words to remember important points and lists.
· Using flash cards to remember important points, dates, events or people.
